This is for students who are taking Literature at Secondary 1 and 2 (Express).

If you find poetry intimidating or inaccessible, this is the course for you! The tricks to acing poetry analysis are:

1. consistent method

2. invested curiosity

3. critical thinking

The class will start easy by looking at expected themes in poetry and building the vocabulary and literary vernacular to communicate one's thoughts and opinions. Students will also be prompted to share what they learn in school so that everyone will benefit from the discussions.

As Literature does not only stop at reading and analysing, we will also be writing mini essays in order to polish up on the skills needed to articulate our points. This is where method and consistency comes into play as well. These will be timed to prepare students for the rigour of the exam.

Thus far, we have only offered this on a 1:1 Personal Coaching basis. As this is a new course being offered on a group basis, we will only open up 12 slots. Priority will be given to students from our Personal Coaching classes.

The first class a child attends will be their trial class. This means that there is no need to make payment before the first class. The trial class will only be counted into the fees if the student decides to continue the week after.
